Q: Hi Tom, In Cancun you mentioned a leave in conditioner that rebuilds the hair. I believe you said it contained crushed shrimp shells. Could you tell me the brand name of this product and who it's made by. Looking forward to seeing you in Vegas
A: The ingredient is called chitosen and it's in a few different leave-in products. The one I use in the salon is Logics Leave in Protector. Hope to see you Las Vegas in June
Q: Tom my wife is 50 and has been coloring her hair for several years and she noticed in the past 6 months substantial hair loss. Could it have anything to do with the hair dye?
A: The odds are quite good that the hair loss is more hereditary than anything else. Misuse or overuse of haircoloring products can cause damage and breakage but probably not hair loss. Hope this helps
